The Burley Airport was dedicated on the 4th of
July 1930. It is located right on a bend in the Snake River. It is one of the most
stunning airports to fly into in Southern Idaho. The Airport rests just on the east side
town but is still close enough to downtown that pilots can walk in for a bite to eat.
In late October of 2002 the airport was rededicated
Burley J R Jack Simplot Airport. If you wish to contact the airport during the day call
Kevin Gebhart at 678-7118. For nights and weekends contact Mike Campbell at 678-0043.There
are two FBO's located at the airport. They both have courtesy cars for dining or getting
to overnight accomadations.
